Hotsy is a brand of pressure washers owned by Kärcher.

A former Customer Service Representative II from Camas, WA claims that there is no support from upper management at Alfred Kärcher (Hotsy) in a review he/she wrote for INDEED: There are many things that need to be fixed and upper management does not care. We are not able to take good care of our customers due to this. In Customer Service, we try over and over and over to get things fixed but we are just ignored. We are on the front lines and the absolute last to know about any changes. It is a horrible way to treat your employees and Customers! They also allow people to make changes that have no idea how our system works, and everything continues to get messed up and worse than it already was.

Inventory Manager (Former Employee) says

"You wont like working for the management. The work is not bad and the employees are wonderful people but Management if very abusive and unprofessional. Cons: Extremely Hostile Management"

salesperson (Former Employee) says

"Worked at this place only briefly. Inventory system is old ledger card system. Not on computer. Branch Manager in Red Deer had no computer skills at all. He kept track of all accounts on ledger cards, throw back from the 70's. Cons: everything else about the place."

Service Technician (Former Employee) says

"I learned a great deal about working on small engines and good customer service. Managers are really good and professional but the salary needs to be improved for experienced techs. Cons: low salary"

Struggling Canadian business owner says

"Horrible company. I’ve been paying $1600/month for 2yrs. I defaulted past 2 months, due to non essential businesses not allowed to operate. After several attempts requesting to learn my interest rate ... (a simple basic question I’ve been asking for 2yrs and no straight answer) and trying to negotiate a lower payments. They refused to forgive a single payment during this pandemic and refused to negotiate a lower payment. Instead I was sent a demand letter, and given 7 days to pay $35,000, or return my equipment I spent 2yrs paying for. I’ve spent $38,400 in payments so far, the equipment was $50,000. Where is this magic money going to come from if Canadians aren’t allowed to operate non essential businesses?!! This company can’t be legally allowed to trap me this badly. How are they helping Canadian businesses, when they are causing so much damage to my business ?!! Always a run around with this company. One rep says I’m paying $200/month insurance in the equipment. Another rep says the $200 is for taxes. The number do not match up!! I want answers. I’ve been requesting my exact interest rate for 2yrs. I have every right to know. This company fails to provide me with details, or negotiate. It’s not ok."

VibezMedia Montreal Ltd says

"I was never told that the fees/interest were out in the stratosphere. Equipment cost $6k and somehow is costing me almost $11k. I got ripped off somewhere, none of this was explained to me, there is absolutely no advantage if I want to buy out early and no way to get out of the lease... aggravated and disappointed"

Mike Lauzon says

"My experience with national is that they would never put the customer first. I had purchased a piece of equipment that I drove 500 km to pick up but I couldn't because the vendor required an original document that National didn't want to pay a courier charge to have it sent. Did I mention the $295 arrangement fee they charge? Yes they are quick to approve you. Yes they are quick to pay the vendor but they aren't quick to tell you about all of the extra fees and charges. If you are looking to lease I would recommend anyone but National."

Daveyk says

"Very Bad, Absolutely a 'Horrible' company....Absolutely a 'legal' scam. Try selling what you bought before the lease is due and you will find that you need to repay more money than your original purchase price in their fee's and interest. I only say its a 'legal' scam, as yes, amongst all the fine print that we all read so well, there are some teenie tiny words that mention you will pay, pay, pay and we will 'Always' make out like bandits. Any reputable company does not deal this way. This company does not deal fairly, and thats all I myself am after. Fair is Fair, and CWB is not, very not. I see that CWB have got back to me with a somewhat generic response… I can tell anybody reading this, that's the first place I tried. I called CWB, and all I got, 100% of the conversation from CWB completely revolved around and I quote 'you signed the contract, you signed the contract, you signed the contract', that is all they cared about,… There was absolutely no discussion from them how this could be made better, all they wanted was their money, and hiding behind their sneaky contract as their shield as to why they should be getting it. I have ran an electrical contracting business for almost 30 years now, and I can tell you that as a business owner I find their practises almost criminal, and I absolutely 100% could never treat one of my customers the way they've treated me. Be very careful what you sign"
